My name is Harrys Papanikolaou and I've been riding bikes for as long as I can remember. I come from a BMX background but 12 years ago, I became hooked on mountain biking.
Mountain biking became my passion. The fact that I’ve participated in many downhill races here in Greece, gave me the chance to gain experience, make a lot of friends and discover the best places for biking across the country.
I started exploring the mountains surrounding my hometown Kozani and realized that the nearby Pieria Mountains have great deals to offer. They stand between beautiful man-made lakes, include the impressive Flambouro peak (2.193 m or 7,195 ft) and are bordered by the second tallest mountain in the Balkans, Mt. Olympus (2.918 m or 9,573 ft). The area quickly became a destination for my friends that were looking for unparalleled All-Mountain / Enduro riding.
The fact that I wanted to share my passion for nature and remote trails with others lead me to become a MIAS certified mountain bike guide and instructor, as well as obtain training in case of any emergency medical situation. I can even provide bike repairs, ranging from simple ones to complex maintenance like suspension setup and service.
Just as I invited my competitive mountain biking friends to Pieria, I now invite you to enjoy a unique guided riding experience, complete with accommodations at my friend Manos’ lodge!
