Riding days
As your guide, I will prepare a custom daily route tailored to your needs and interests. We will start our day with a quick route briefing, an overview of bike safety, and then we will be ready to start our tour.
We use a pickup truck and trailer modified for bikes to transport us to our starting point. The trailer is also equipped with a service box and a motorbike will be standing by in case we need any assistance along the trail.
Eat & Sleep
Our lodge and main base of VelvetRides is the property of my friend Manos Dimoudias and is located on the foothills of Pieria Mountains. Manos lodge is unique, as it is adjoined to the home where he and his family are living all year long. You can expect great Greek hospitality in a friendly and above all family-oriented environment. Manos family will prepare your bedroom, as well as traditional Greek meals for breakfast and dinner.
After a long day on the mountains, you can relax in a big patio with a pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and barbecue.
Bike maintenance
In our facilities there is an organized bike service area, equipped for simple or complex bike maintenance. We have a variety of bike components and upgrade parts on hand at all times.
